Info on the LED light: there is no battery in the spray head. The light is run on by water flow.  There is a small motor inside of the LED light head, it turns on when the water goes through.

If the LED light is black, you are required to change the LED light. The light warranty is for 1 year only. After 1 year warranty, you can purchase a new LED and self install with ease. Simply twist off and screw back on the head.
